Advanced Registration Available for this CME Breakfast Symposium

Montvale, NJ – October 25, 2005 – In conjunction with the American Urological Association Northeastern/New England Section Annual Meeting, CME2 and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine are pleased to announce that advanced registrations are now available for “A Collaborative Approach to Treating Hormone Refractory Prostate Cancer,” a CME Breakfast Symposium which will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2005, 6:45 AM to 7:50 AM at the Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre, The Fairmont Southampton, Southampton, Bermuda.

Urologists, urology residents, and other physicians treating prostate cancer are invited to participate in a series of programs and case presentations that will be led by featured faculty including Mitchell C. Benson, MD—Chair, George F. Cahill Professor and Chairman, Department of Urology, Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, Columbia University Medical Center, New York, NY, and Daniel Petrylak, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology, Columbia University Medical Center, New York, NY.

Symposium participants will earn a maximum of 1 Category 1 credit toward the American Medical Association (AMA) Physician’s Recognition Award. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to describe the major findings of recent clinical trials in advanced prostate cancer patients, identify the diagnostic profiles of patients at all stages of the prostate cancer clinical spectrum, describe the risks and benefits of treatment options, describe ongoing clinical trials, evaluate the appropriate treatment options for patients with advanced prostate cancer diagnostic profiles, and describe how they would collaborate with oncologists to improve patient outcomes.
